In the Peruvian Mountains, by Anita Louise Hummel, is an original oil painting. The oil painting is of an Andean woman who lives up in the mountains of Peru. I painted her with bright and cheerful colors as I felt that she would want to wear these bright colors. I have added a touch of gold leafing on her hat.
About Anita Hummel
I am a renegade troublemaker who bucks conforming. Always have been and probably always will be. So it is no surprise that my art deeply reflects this part of my life. I can usually be found walking around my house having a one-way conversation with my dog. My art also reflects my love of dogs and other animals. As I have been an ex-pat most of my life, my art is deeply influenced by cultures, people., places and nature. For my day job, we create, design and manufacture home decor products for the home furnishing and home decor industry.
